Designers goals
What makes us who we are? How do we put our head above the crowd? We make statements. We show the world who we are, what we're about and where we want to be. We aspire, we drive and we succeed. 11 years ago Aaron Hadlow started a kitesurfing journey with Flexifoil. He decided he wanted to be at the top and he went there. He showed the world his character, proved who he was. Now he shares that journey with you, presents you with a kitesurfing kite that will take you there to join him, to share that identity, that success, that image. HADLOW, powered by Flexifoil, present the Hadlow ID.
Stemming from the existing HADLOW PRO, the HADLOW ID adds to the HADLOW Collection a kite firmly in the reach of all aspiring kiters. With increased depower, easier relaunch and phenomenal performance in freestyle, freeriding and wave riding the Hadlow ID is an expansion on the HADLOW Collection that gives you the tools to grow and be a part of the HADLOW movement from intermediate to pro riders alike
"My vision for the Hadlow ID was to create a kitesurfing kite that would be credible, have a solid feel great for freestyle kitesurfing, but also be a kite that you can jump on at almost any level. Equipped with a bridle-supported leading edge this kitesurfing kite can boost, de-power for wave or free-ride kitesurfing but still create enough pop for Wakestyle tricks. Even if you are just learning to jump the Hadlow ID will suit you, easily covering intermediate through to Pro kitesurfing.

Features
- C-kite geometry
- Bridle
- Filleted dacron Cage
Creates a truer aerofoil by reducing focal stress on rib to LE junction, meaning a smoother, more direct flight - Thin leading edge
- Blended Aerofoil
The Hadlow ID's unique and purpose built aerofoil tames the aggressive performance of the HADLOW PRO to an accessible level with more direct handling - Wingtips
Slash cut, heavily tapered tips distribute load across the whole tube, allowing for a thinner tip and creating sharper, faster turns as well as easing relaunch. - Lap Seams
Throughout the sail provide the Hadlow ID with aerodynamically efficient and strong stitch across the entire kite.\ - Balanced Driving Canopy
Reduces stall after loops allowing for better hook-ups, but creates a completely neutral stall giving great balance and stability after a pass without having to drive the sail forward.
Bar
Flexifoil's All In One Bar has been developed as an easy use option for any level of rider, from beginner to advanced. You'll find it on our full range or water kites, except the Quark and the Hadlow Pro, offering the same great control and full adjustability, giving you astoundingly high levels of control and feel in the air.
Flexifoil has always taken pride in the level of safety, assurance and confidence we provide flyers of our kites, and the All-In-One bar continues with this theme. You'll find a tried, tested and trusted single-release system that you can gain confidence from, allowing you to really push yourself that bit further.
With our All-In-One bar we've also aimed to make a product that?s as versatile as possible, so this bar is retro-fittable onto our own kites and can also be used on any other kite that is set up with all lines the same length at full power. This means that whatever you choose to do, you can always take Flexifoil's high standards, exceptional quality and excellent safety features with you.

I use the kite for freestyle, some wakestyle, kiteloops and high jumps. The kite is always very predictable and stable when unhooked and gives enough feedback to know when to pass the bar. The kite has a nice pull and bar pressure which combines to predictability and raises confidence. Even my girlfriend of 65kg loved riding it in 30+knots of wind. I like that the pressure doesn`t totally disappear when you push the bar because sometimes it makes you lose height in tricks.
With hard winds you can do the crazy mega loops. But the kite makes it possible to learn the loops as it won`t punish you so hard. You can make it turn fast if wanted.
The kite pulls you into the air pretty explosive and floats you down.
The kite is built really well, has a one-pump, really nice finish and is delivered very complete. The lines have an extra coating and are stronger than most brands (350kg and most have standard 200kg).
The upwind capabilities are perfect with this kite only the relaunch is sometimes a bit harder (especially in the low end). It takes some technique but it`s still possible even for a beginner.
I flew quite a lot of kites and I definitely love this one!
