Conclusion
To be curt. The Core GTS3 is versatile. For wave riders, it got its drift, controlled slack line steering and exceptional stability that will handle offshore wind conditions. In the freestyle range the GTS3 had an explosive pop with a gradual boost.
Hooked in or out, in both ways the GTS3 is tuned and doesn't lose performance. Core Kiteboarding managed to make a very versatile allrounder that shows performance in lots of disciplines. So if you search for a freestyle/wave/allround mix. The Core GTS3 is certainly one to test!

Mostly i kite nicely powered up to do handlepass tricks and also i like to be overpowered and do boardoffs and kiteloops then. This kite is giving me good performance in all conditions. Its a very allround kite. Made for unhooked tricks, waveriding or big jumps and kiteloops.
Now with 3 struts its just very much lighter and the handling became even easier and more direct. The drift improved a lot which is great after handlepasses and also when you go for a wave session you always stay in control. I love doing strapless jumps with my surfboard and here its also very important that i can feel exactly what my kite is doing and where its standing in the wind window. Together with the smooth flying caracteristics and the depower it has Core managed to build a kite thats really suitable for lots of skill levels and ways of riding. The ultimate all in one kite.

What I especially like is the 3 struts makes it drift down the line like a dream.
Thanks CORE

I have been riding the kite with the full wakestyle setting. Meaning slow steering and the most bar pressure options. With this setting the kite was stable in the corner of the window during your tricks and easy to control. When landing full speed down-wind and with slack in your lines the kite easily drifts back into the wind window instead of falling out of the sky.
When the wind picked up I started with some hooked jumping and got pleasantly surprised by the boost. Getting high was easy and explosive while the kite still carries a lot of glide for a Future C-shape.
Although I am focussing on wakestyle I find versatility very important in a kite. With this kite I can go high and also do wakestyle, take a surfboard and it will still amaze and surprise you. Thats why my best description would be: "Core GTS3, an allround high performance kite!"

The new GTS has a short de-power stroke. Under 15 knots the GTS3 it felt like a all-rounder, unhooked it had great pop. When the wind picks up above 15 knots (11m) the GTS3 immediately improved in a high-performance kite for hooked in riders. More acceleration, really explosive lift and a more powerful boost. So it felt you have to ride it in its high end to get the best hooked in performance. I was out for a hour, felt immediately comfortable, only the boost surprised me in its travel distance!
Sorry, other surfer .... sorry for the horizontal off axis passage :-}
