Special 3 strut wave kite
Designers goals
Surfing down the face of a huge wave might easily be the best feeling in the world. To pursue this unique experience we developed the Cabo. The new Best Cabo is as perfect for the best wave riders in the industry as it is fun to ride on a casual freeride.
The Tri-strut design and the slightly swept wingtips provide an exceptional downwind drift allowing you to park the Cabo at the very edge of the wind window and concentrate fully on the wave beneath (or above) you. We further reduced the weight of the kite enhancing its agility. As the Cabo comes with our lifetime warranty, we build it Surf Tough with a reinforced trailing edge and optimized placements of the Dacron canopy. We also further improved the stability, giving you a rock solid kite while you charge every wave!

Kite surfing review Best Kiteboarding Cabo 6m 2015
Test conditions
Water
Wind: 20-35 knots
Settings: fabric kite setting, small bar, 21m lines
Conclusion
The new Best Cabo 6m doesn't feel like most small wave kites. The Cabo likes to be steered, it's not a mellow Park & ride surf tool. This 6m is a very fast kite with high scoring freestyle kite characteristics like pop, boost and lift. It's a pretty hardcore beast, but with its good feedback, great reaction and short & total depower you can control the beast.
Bad kite? Really bad kites aren't made anymore. Just know your riding style and find the most suitable kite for you and this Best 6m Cabo is made for a playful aggressive rider with technical skills who like to slingshot himself into the waves.
Pros
- Reaction on steering action
- Depower
- Feedback
- Clean control bar
Cons
- loses power on the edge of the wind window
- intention to backstall if to much steering line pressure
Scoll down for more details about the kite characteristics
Basics
Windrange
We had a few sessions, in its low end you have to steer a lot because the Cabo loses kite pressure on the edge of the wind window. At its high end playful but fast and real high end performance kite
Kite stability
The Cabo likes to shift to the edge of the wind window all the time. Means with gusty wind a more restless kite.
Kite re-launch
pull on the steering line
Safety system
Clean bar, easy 4 line safety
Total depower
Short depower stroke
Oldskool
Low-end
The Best Cabo loses power on the edge of the window, you need to steer the kite to behold your power.
High-end
The Best Cabo likes to shift to the edge of the window, that shift comes with a pretty explosive power especially at +26 knots. This restless power asks more control from the kitesurfer
Lift
explosive lift
Wave
Feedback at edge of wind window
The Best Cabo like to shift to the edge, that makes it a bit restless. The feedback is good and pop is pretty explosive, that means you feel every gust on the bar
Drift
The drift is good but not the best performanced kite characteristic.
Steering with low line tension
Long depower control
Turning circle
Short turning, fast reaction
Reaction to steering action
The Cabo reacts very fast
Race
Kiteposition in wind-window
Going upwind
Depends in which wind conditions, low end lot of steering so hard to stay up wind. Overpowered conditions the best up wind performance

If you need a kite with hangtime and powerfull jumps, you should look foward to roca, ts or GP.
