Designers goals (manufacturer text)
FLITE HIGH PERFORMANCE LIGHT WIND KITE
The Flite is the lightest kite we've ever made! This translates to an ultra stable kite that won't luff over in the flukiest of winds and practically bounces back up off the water when re-launching. Built with a fun, nimble 3 strut frame the Flite is the world's first high performance, x-over freeride light wind kite.
From the first power stroke you'll know this kite was built for fun. Agile and light in the hand the Flite tracks as if on rails and snaps around in turns. Designed to be looped, unhooked or sent big the Flite will have you out riding when your friends are still tossing the frisbee!

Ocean Rodeo made a real light kite. Named the Flite. Thin struts and light material. Looks durable and by pumping the kite you get a pretty stiff kite profile.
First impression on the water is that the kite is really light steering and that you don't have to steer the kite a lot. to get power out of it. Lets say an easy handling kite. Just put the kite in one position and go. He will generate by himself the power and upwind performance are great. Other people where on the water with 15m2. Bar pressure is soft and lift is great.
For free riding with less wind and have an all-round intermediate kite the Flite is a good option. For unhooking he is a bit soft, but this kite is designed for the all-round rider that like to kite soon as possible and still wanna have an playful kite.
