Designers goals (manufacturer text)

The Charger has proven to be more stable, durable, adaptable and more capable of serving you excellent kiting performance. For this new iteration of the ultimate 'do it all' kite we have taken all the best aspects of the original and combined it with the valuable user feedback we received since the original Charger's release, resulting in a kite which has the performance we intended but with the user-friendly aspects today's market demands.

  • Unbeatable stability and Auto-zenith
A Peter Lynn Twinskin is the most stable kite for all conditions.
  • Clean airflow
Compared to tube kites, Twinskins have a much cleaner airflow around the wing.
  • High wind excellence
The Charger has an incredibly large windrange.
  • Easy water relaunch
When the kite crashes on the water, it is easy to relaunch.
  • Highly adaptable
The Charger can easily be tuned to personal preference or conditions.

Comments:
The Charger is an all terrain C-shaped foil kite. C-shaped foil doesn't mean Freestyle! No this is a whole other ball game. We tested The Charger with a kitesailing boat. (kitetender.com). One of the biggest issues with kitesailing is ... the relaunch! So we tested the Charger because this kite doesn't fall down! The Peter Lynn Charger has an Auto Zenith! That means if you let go of the bar, the kite will always crawl to 12 O'clock! Not downwards like all the other foil and tube kites, no this Charger crawls upward. "WHEN YOU'RE STRANGE" the doors would sing! Okay sorry .... this Auto Zenith works! But like all the other kites, one characteristic doesn't do the trick! This Charger is a bit different. It has an other set-up & relaunch technique, but in the air it feels like a solid & fast steering beginner/all-round tube kite. The Charger positions itself deep in the wind window. That kite position makes it a bit forceful, but again great for kite sailing.
Resume; Auto zenith is unique and great for kite sailing, we could change position (helmsman/kite steering) with the kite up in the air at all times. The combination of characteristics makes the Peter Lynn Charger interesting for starters/all-round kite sailors, snowkiters and landboarders.
