Rider profile

Light wind hydrofoilers, light wind landboarders

Designers goals (manufacturer text)

Our hybrid single skin kite Ninox is designed for use in extreme light wind. You will be powered in just a few knots. The 31 cells ensure a clean profile with the performance you can expect from the aspect ratio of 4.8. The leading edge will always remain stiff through the nylon rods inserted between every cell. Since it is just a small size, the kite is very fast and feels reactive.

The regular kiter who wants to kite in very little wind

The hydrofoil kiter who needs a kite that will stay in the air with almost no wind

The snowkiter who wants to do backcountry trips and needs to do everything independently

The traveler who wants a very light and compact kite

Kite features

  • Extreme low wind performance
  • Very light and compact
  • Great upwind performance
  • Direct feel
  • Very stable
  • Replaceable rods
  • Almost endless drift
  • The weight of the kite depends on the final production but sure will be around 1kg

Control Bar

Only available KITE ONLY.

You can use every 4 line bar with all lines equal in length.

Comments:
Tested the Ninox 6m on land with a skateboard. Like the characteristics show, great stability and great drift. Power control is trustful & gradual. Fast turning & playful. This kite would be great for kids, playing around in the water. Crashing & relaunching. Playing around in the light winds. Learning the basic skills of kitesurfing. Personally, can't wait to try the 10m on a hydrofoil with the lightest wind possible.

I’m pretty excited about this kite and haven’t seen any sales of it yet. When will this hit the market ?
