Designers goals (manufacturer text)

Engineered with freestyle riders in mind, the Hantuᴵᴵᴵ offers a crisp, connected, and lively feel — precision performance for Masters of Style.

Designed to accelerate your progression however you ride, the Hantuᴵᴵᴵ is a versatile 3-strut hybrid that offers it all: powerful precision, direct response, explosive lift, long hang time, smooth glide, quick turning, massive range, ultra-stability, effortless relaunch, and a world-class no-stall design.

Suited for intermediate to pro kiters, the Hantuᴵᴵᴵ will boost you to the moon, help you throw unhooked tricks with ease, slay rails and kickers, turn spectator’s heads with gigantic megaloops, and drop jaws with floaty, old-school board-offs.  Tremendously versatile, the Hantuᴵᴵᴵ features two modes of setup:

Freestyle Mode — Featuring light bar pressure, tight turns, maximum depower, smooth power development, and high steering sensitivity.

Wakestyle Mode — Featuring medium bar pressure, increased kite feedback, aggressive kite loops, maximum pop, less depower, and less pull unhooked.

Offering a consistent and smooth pull, the 4-line Hantuᴵᴵᴵ delivers user-friendly handling, adjustable bar pressure, huge depower.  For wakestyle warriors, this kite delivers the coveted “moment of slack” — a short delay in power after loading and popping off the water — which makes handle passing easier than ever.

Utilizing hassle-free block pulleys on the bridle, the lightweight Hantuᴵᴵᴵ also features a new Dual Inflation & Deflation Valve plus a wide-mouth wingtip dump valve for quick and easy setup and breakdown.

Better yet, the Hantuᴵᴵᴵ offers excellent upwind reach and low-wind performance, and is guaranteed to expedite your progression.  Engineered and constructed to the industry’s highest standards, what sets this kite apart is that it performs on par with the best of the best — but without the inflated cost.  No matter your style, the Hantuᴵᴵᴵ will pave the way to becoming a Master of Style.

RIDER PROFILE: The Hantuᴵᴵᴵ is ideal for riders of all types. Hooked-in & unhooked freestyle, big-air, air-style , kite loops, megaloops, powered wave riding and freeride.

Comments:
The Hantu 12 is a very user friendly kite but also a bit odd in a way. Main purpose would be freestyle and wakestyle but it's also very light and would suit most of the freeriders and not heavenly experienced riders as well. Building quality is solid and with eye for details. After a lot of abuse in salty water it's still in a very good shape without significant damage to stitches or whatever. The colors are slightly turning into a shade lighter after many hours in the sun but still, overall it is still a very good looking kite.
For a 12m it looks compact and I had a lot of surprised comments when launching or landing the kite of kiters. They were surprised and thought it was a 9 or 10m. So, a light and eager to fly-kite with quality's that suits advanced as well as experienced riders. To my surprise it worked well in combination with my directional waveboard because of the fact drifting the kite along with you while riding waves is possible.
The weight of the Hantu is a plus I think. Launching and handling is much easier to do and will bring satisfaction for moderate riders.

Zian kites are ok, use them 4+ years.
But the company turned fraud.
Owner/founder Robert Berends collected down payments and disappeared.
He owes Australian distributor 200,000 euro, USA distributor $20,000+

Do not buy from him
