Comments:
All around, this kite is an advanced rider's dream. It's now 7 years old and still my favorite. The durability is unparallelled; it just keeps going.

It is not for beginners. I bought it for my gf when she was learning, but her first session taught us both that it requires experience to appreciate it, so it became my kite. It's leading edge is tiny, so it will overfly if you're not careful. But that same characteristic also gives it excellent upwind ability, boost, and wind range.

Relaunch also requires being expedient; if it sits too long in the water, it may tip back and fly upside-down, a state that can be hard to exit. The way to re-launch is to pull one FRONT line and the opposing back line at the same time.

While in the air, though, it's a rocket. The response you get when you pull in the bar is just delightful - when the wind is right you feel like you're running on nitro.

I have talked to other kiters who have owned these, and they have largely said that the old 08-09 Nemesis was a special breed that hasn't really been paralleled, even by the newer Nemeses.
