Thing to notice is to prefill the kite very, very well, it is not as super easy in handling as a Speed4 Lotus kite, where you just pull up the kite and forget everything and it stays super stable above you. When the ears come in on launching, pull in the bar, stall the kite, until they open and then slowly depower again (make sure to have some room to do this on the beach)
Other then that, you need a bit of kite flying skill to jump with the kite, to not let it fly over, since it is super on the edge of the windwindow, but most will have this. Insane kite, gave me back my passion in kitesurfing, using it on kite hydrofoil as well as twintip.

The Sonic is a high aspect ratio race foil and builds its powers in flying acceleration. Generate a wide wind window for great upwind tacks. Good depower, but less feedback as the Flysurfer Speed4. Less feedback and almost no "sheet and go feeling", that's why you need a great kite feeling to find riding speed in light wind or lift to jump. Keep the profile, generate speed in the profile and you will find the powers you need.
One tip:
Wait for the 'kite pull' snowkiters will understand that famous feeling where you put your ski's or board downhill, kite around 12 hour and your downhill riding speed will generate kite lift.
